The Academic Diversity Council (ADC) is comprised of the The Center for Teaching Innovation, The Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble, the Cornell Intergroup Dialogue Project, the Office of Faculty Development and Diversity, and the Graduate School Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement, along with the Offices of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Vice Provost for Engagement and Land Grant Affairs, and the Vice Provost for Academic Innovation. These offices offer a wide range of programs that support academic leaders and faculty in creating a more inclusive and diverse campus. These programs include workshops about best practices in hiring and promotion to diversify our faculty, engage faculty who are looking to create more inclusive classrooms, outline resources for faculty who are supporting a diverse graduate student body, and guide faculty who are looking to acquire skills of communication and dialogue across different experience, viewpoints, and social identities.
